~ New Staff ~
As our associations to the local community have grown since the release of our DVD, "Santa Fe's Energy Solution: A Biomass Future", so has our team here in the office!
We're pleased to introduce our new staff here at Local Energy:
Frank Currie, P.E.
Frank is a licensed professional engineer and a certified home-energy rater. He holds a degree in electrical engineering from Michigan State University. Before pursuing his engineering career, he served eight years in the military as a Korean linguist. Frank's engineering career began with designing industrial combustion equipment, but in 2000 he moved into the energy industry and began carrying out planning studies on the U.S. electric power grid. In 2006, Frank decided to leave the "mainstream" energy industry, and joined Local Energy to pursue his interests in sustainable energy development and resource use.
Kristen Rayner, Administrative Assistant
Kristen comes to Local Energy all the way from Connecticut where she received her BFA in Music Theatre Performance from the University of Hartford's Hartt School. The last six years have found her splitting her time between performing leading roles on-stage, teaching voice, theatre & dance and working in the non-profit sector. Thrilled to be here in the high desert of NM, Kristen is equally pleased to be playing her part in the local economy of Santa Fe's sustainable energy future.
