Did you know--Mark Sardella and Local Energy staff members are designing and teaching courses in sustainable-energy at Ecoversity and the Santa Fe Community College (SFCC)?

Biomass Energy
Saturdays, 11/11 to 12/9
9 am to 4 pm

Mark will be teaching the course:
"Biomass Energy" this fall at SFCC.
The class will be held Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. starting November 11th and running for 4 weeks, ending on December 9, 2006. For more information, please click here.

Join Mark for a fascinating lecture and discussion on energy, Peak Oil and our options in the post-carbon world. Discuss solutions for individuals and communities. Review the applicability and viability of technogenic and renewable options, evaluate their cost and effectiveness and discuss the importance of decentralization of energy supply for urban and rural populations.

Solar hot water systems range from simple inexpensive batch heaters to fully automated state-of-the-art systems for domestic hot water and heating. Whether you are thinking about building a house or want to retrofit an existing one, learn the options, questions and design considerations to include in the process.

 

Shades of Green, a series of lectures on Sustainable Energy, will be presented Thursday evenings from
6-8:30 pm at Ecoversity starting October 12th and running through November 9th.
